Hi friends,
It feels like forever since I recorded this project. Much has happened in between. The world feels less stable than it used to.
That being said, I am hopeful that this album will be released at a time that it encourages you and brings joy and hope.
It is called Over Under and it centers around love and family. It has songs about Gavin and the girls and rotates around the concept that love is a cycle of confession (being sorry), repenting (changing course) and from that comes forward growth. For this to happen, one person has to be firmly, gently holding the mirror. The other has to be soft, humble bending. It reminds me of the motion of bike pedals. A constant bending against each other that leads to forward motion. If you are anything like us, you are more like a bike, whose pedals keep getting stuck.
For this project, a new single will be released every two weeks. If you are interested in a physical album, they will be available for pre-order beginning September 30.
Look for the first single on September 4! It's about sweet Vivi, who was a baby when I wrote it, but is not much of a baby anymore. (See video above.) I am doing a really fun giveaway to celebrate it and I would love to include you in it.
